Annual General Meeting (AGM)

VNME organizes the Annual Meeting with members on 2nd June 2017 with the agenda as follow:

  1. Introduce the Network and activities since establishment in 2012
  2. Introduce the current Management Boa and one by one of each member
  3. Sharing and update information of VNME to members
  4. VNME Action plan to the end of 2017
  5. Elect the new Management Board for the next 2 years (2018- 2019)

Prepare for Conference APEAConf2016 in Hanoi 

Theme: "SDGs – Making a Difference Through Evaluation"

Date: 21-25 November, 2016

Venue: Melia Hotel, 44B Ly Thuong Kiet, Hoan Kiem, Ha Noi, Viet Nam

Asia Pacific Evaluation Association (APEA) - Vietnam Network for Monitoring and Evaluation (VNME) - Centre for Agricultural Reseach, Management, Monitoring & Evaluation (ARMEC)

  1. Responsible for the tasks authorized by the Party A related to logistic works under the MOU signed on 30th May, 2016;
  2. Work together with the Event Management Company to Respond all legal requirement to organize the Conference based on the Vietnam Government Regulation and Law (get the permit to organize the conference in Hanoi);
  3. Work with the Event Management Company to be responsible for the legal requirements for the participants to get visa to come to Vietnam before the Event;
  4. Play role as local partner to work with the Event Management Company to contact with relevant organisations and agencies to discuss and get supports from them for the conference;
  5. Photocopy documents and handouts for participants;
  6. Work closely with Event Management Company and responsible for all logistics works with the Event Management Company related to the conference (Hotel, translation, handout, information, media, television… etc);
  7. Make relevant payments for all approved expenditures related to the Conference;
  8. Collect all dues, issue receipts, prepare the Statement of Expenditures within 10 days after the Conference and submit to the APEA;
  9. Responsible for the part of Estimate cost
  10. Others logistics and local liaison matters.

VNME with support of IOCE Eval Partners, potentional local partners, up to now VNME continues to conduct following activities:

  1. Meet with Unicef in Vietnam to introduce about APEA and VNME, brief on APEA Evaluation Conference 2016 in Vietnam, discuss with Unicef about the Partnership Option between Unicef- VNME- APEA on Evaluation & Related initiatives
  2. Work closely with APEA President (Dr.Arunaselam Rasappan) to publish VNME Conference website with Conference information and links to all other APEA member countries and their VoPEs. Link VNME website with APEA Conf2016 website
  3. Conduct 3 training courses on IRBM in collaboration with MES and MUST for potential local partners in Vietnam (NEU and IMARD) 
  4. Assign representative to join the Small Grant to develop Asia Region Framework on Evaluation Standard with MES (Malaysia Evaluation Society), CamES (Cambodia Evaluation Society) and InDEC (Indonesia Development Evaluation Community) in 2016 
  5. Conduct the first Annual Group Meeting, Minute of Meeting
  6. Assign representative to join Global Forum in Kathmandu- Nepal in 20015, Kathmandu- Nepal Report
  7. Develop the VNME Constitution in both the Vietnamese and English languages
